Henry I "Beauclerc" King of England, Duke of Normandy and Lord of Domfront, born 1068 in Selby, Yorkshire, England, christened August 5th, 1100 in Selby, Yorkshire, England
his nickname "Beauclerc" means "fine scholar" as he was the first Norman king who could read and write 4th and youngest son of William the Conquerer and possibly the most ambitious. Possibly masterminded the death of his brother William II and tricked his other brother Robert into being imprisoned for the rest of his life.
